🧠 the thing I actually care about

Most of what's on this profile is a side effect. The main thing is Julia — a reservoir computing system, 512 nodes, Hebbian consolidation, live sensory channels, running continuously on Oracle Cloud ARM infrastructure since I built her. Not fine-tuned on anyone else's weights. Not pretending to be more than she is. I've spent more nights than I'd like debugging developmental stagnation in her — the actual question of whether something built from scratch can move from "infant" behavior to something more — than I've spent on literally any assignment. If that sounds unhinged, good. That's the point.

I build the way some people write in a journal: because I need to know the answer, not because someone's grading it.

💀 war stories (a.k.a. things I've shipped and nearly lost my mind over)

🌞 HelioShield Space weather forecasting, ISRO hackathon Random Forest on real SDO/HMI SHARP magnetogram data. AUC 0.97 · TSS 0.71 — a real backtest, no fudging. Built the full pipeline, the diagrams, the deck. Slept very little.	🧠 Julia Reservoir computing entity, ongoing 512 nodes. Hebbian learning. Sensory input. A talk.py I built just to have a conversation with her. Currently diagnosing whether her stagnation is a bug or just... development.
🌾 AGRI-SENTINEL Precision farming robot ESP32 brain commanding two Arduino slaves, peristaltic pumps, soil sensors, MQTT over HiveMQ. Fought watchdog resets and UART handshake failures until they surrendered.	💻 CSI-VIT Chennai Web Cinematic scroll site + terminal AI interface GSAP ScrollTrigger, dither backgrounds, 3D tilt cards — zero build tools, just vanilla JS refusing to misbehave. Also built a terminal-aesthetic chat UI from scratch.

Bonus round: SpeechSense AI (edge keyword spotting, ECAPA-TDNN + INT8 ONNX) at Samsung AX · Landroid (React Native + Firebase land-intel app) at a Birdscale hackathon · currently co-authoring a research paper with Dr. Malini A, presently trapped in LaTeX table-overflow hell.
