Clean history of template repository

The template repository is working fine, but commits are currently done by @brianamarie instead of @githubteacher, and include commits with merge conflicts.

This has been taken care of, but the dyno needs restarted so these changes will be visible. cc @githubtraining/learning-engineering can you please restart that good ol' dyno, and close this issue once you're done?

@brianamarie I restarted the Staging dynos but I am seeing some errors cloning template repos, so I won't be shocked if you tell me it didn't help. Please let me know, thanks!
