Programmatically check for public vs private repository

Currently, users get the same set of instructions even though their actions will be different based on if they have a private or public repository.

@githubtraining/learning-engineering Can we check programmatically to see if they have a public or private repository, and give a different response based on that information?

Unless the feature isn't available anymore, we initially used something similar in the original moving a project to GitHub course to display information if the course was or wasn't private (at least that is what I am remembering).

You can do:

  I'm a private repo!
{% else %}
  I'm a public repo!
{% endif %}

@JasonEtco do we need to add anything to the backend of the course to support this, or does this "work out of the box" for all course?
