Ping? It's almost been a month, and I see this has been tagged into 3.10.x and 3.11.x versions, but this bug is in 3.8.x at least. |

The RR is to fix tk.h version (8.6) doesn't match libtk.a version (8.5) problem
By default python's ./configure sets the build to link tck/tk from the macos SDK (
/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk/System/Library/Frameworks/Tk.framework) which is currently of 8.5
